Robot x Rescue Forum 2023 Event Information
Summary
"Robot x Rescue Forum 2023" will be held on December 3, 2023 (Sunday) as follows. This time, it will be held as a hybrid of the Kobe venue and the webinar.
The Rescue Robot Contest Executive Committee carries out disaster prevention awareness activities based on the philosophy of ``Learning technology, talking with people, and creating a disaster-resistant world.'' The aim is to raise awareness of disaster prevention and response, and to provide a place for creativity education. We have been holding the "Rescue Robot Contest (Rescon)" every year since 2000. Additionally, in January 2015, we established R&R Community, a general incorporated association, as an organization to manage and manage projects such as this Rescon.
As part of this disaster prevention awareness campaign, the purpose of this forum is to provide topics related to disaster relief and robots not only to those who are interested in response requests, but also to the general public. This forum is co-hosted by the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers Society of Instrument and Control Engineers, System Integration Division, Rescue Engineering Subcommittee.
The event will be held in two parts: “Posium 2023”. Please invite everyone to join us.
Furthermore, we are planning to hold the preliminaries for the "Rescue Robot Contest 2024" online on June 23, 2024, and the final competition at Kobe Sunbo Hall on August 10th and 11th. I am. The "Rescon Symposium 2023" in the second half of this forum also serves as an information session for this contest.
